Role Summary
The Data Architect will guide architectural decisions for client solutions, interacting directly with clients to understand and translate business requirements into technical designs. This requires expertise in data architecture, analytics design, project delivery, and experience in client-facing contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert business needs into detailed technical specifications.
- Design and deliver business intelligence and modern data analytics platform solutions.
- Develop and implement robust data architecture frameworks.
- Create data models and design ETL, integration, and migration processes.
- Develop master data management systems, data quality processes, and ensure ongoing data governance.
- Collaborate with data science, AI, machine learning, and visualization teams.
- Document architectural solutions thoroughly, including high-level and low-level designs.
- Operate within project management or agile methodologies.
- Lead and manage project team members on a daily basis.
- Oversee technical solution delivery and maintain clear stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in data solution architecture, design, and deployment.
- Hands-on expertise with business intelligence tools, data modeling, data staging, extraction, data warehouses, and cloud environments.
- Knowledge of multidimensional modeling concepts such as star schemas, facts, and dimensions.
- Competency in ETL development and data warehouse performance tuning.
- Understanding of data management best practices, including profiling, cleansing, standardization, transformation, and matching.
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS or Oracle Cloud, as well as R and Python programming.
