Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert assisting customers by providing root cause analyses, practical workarounds, and best practice guidance regarding Google Cloud Data Analytics products such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Airflow Composer, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
- Manage and resolve complex product issues, delving deep into logs, query execution plans, job graphs, and pipeline failures to identify root causes and implement reliable solutions.
- Monitor data pipeline health by troubleshooting failures, latency problems, and quota errors to ensure optimal system performance.
- Oversee end-to-end incident management including triage, root cause analysis, remediation, and communication with stakeholders.
- Configure and maintain network devices and services within the GCP environment.
- Utilize programming and scripting languages such as Python, SQL, and Shell for troubleshooting and automation tasks.
- Employ CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and Infrastructure as Code principles to maintain deployment consistency and agility.
- Use Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring tools to collect and analyze logs, metrics, and traces for effective debugging and issue replication in test environments.
- Optimize BigQuery performance through advanced tuning techniques including materialized views, partitioning, and clustering to efficiently handle high-volume queries.
- Develop sophisticated Dataflow transformations using Apache Beam, handling stateful processing and side inputs.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available data architectures on GCP with strategies for cross-region disaster recovery and failover.
- Master Airflow advanced features such as custom operators, dynamic DAG creation, robust error handling, and alert mechanisms.
- Expertly debug distributed systems using advanced tracing (Cloud Trace) and profiling to locate bottlenecks.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems across hardware, software, and networking systems.
- Provision and de-provision cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, and networking as required.
- Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Possess 5 to 7 years of industry experience working with Looker Studio or similar Looker Cloud environments.
- Educational qualification of B.Tech or B.E. in any specialization, or any graduate degree holder.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
