Data Analyst

About the Role

Join TechnologyOne's IT & AI Enablement team in Corporate Services as a Data Analyst, where you'll transform enterprise data into reliable insights that facilitate informed decisions across our organization. You'll work on enhancing data quality, establishing standardised measurements, and delivering dependable reports and actionable business intelligence to various internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend their reporting needs and translate these into effective dashboards, reports, and data insights.
• Detect and resolve issues related to duplicate, incomplete, conflicting, or poorly governed data within core enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain clear, engaging data visualizations to empower confident business decision-making.
• Analyze extensive datasets to identify trends and formulate clear, actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate with Data Engineering to guarantee data pipelines are precise, dependable, and fit-for-purpose.
• Contribute to defining common enterprise metrics and promote high standards of data integrity and governance.
• Perform quality assurance checks ensuring all data deliverables and reports meet stipulated standards.
• Continuously enhance data systems, processes, and practices while adhering to policies, compliance, and workplace health and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in data science, computer science, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience with capturing, integrating, and analyzing large data sets to generate business intelligence outcomes.
• Proficient knowledge of business intelligence concepts and tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Advanced skills in SQL and Python programming.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, or service management platforms, along with an understanding of their security and compliance implications.
• Capability to detect patterns and risks within data, translating findings into useful business advice.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational abilities; experience with cloud and data platforms like Azure, AWS, Data Cloud, Databricks, or QuickSight is an advantage.
