About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an orderly, clean, and properly zoned Dairy/Frozen section to assure the department is always ready for customers.
• Conduct regular stock rotation, check for expired products to uphold freshness and quality standards.
• Accurately price and sign merchandise and adhere to protocols related to ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and labeling.
• Comply with food safety and cold chain requirements including temperature monitoring, thermometer calibration, correct handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Support merchandising efforts by maintaining department features according to promotional and display standards.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by promptly managing spills, debris, and following company and health & safety guidelines.
• Be flexible with your schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business demands.

Challenges in This Position

• Manage a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment with efficiency and planning, especially during overnight shifts.
• Perform physical activities such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs., and repetitive tasks with attention to detail.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.40.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
