Position Overview
Join Walmart Canada as a Dairy/Frozen Associate and gain valuable experience in a fast-moving retail space. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the Dairy/Frozen department's cleanliness, organization, and zoning to keep it consistently ready for customers.
- Manage product rotation diligently, checking for expired items to uphold product freshness and quality standards.
- Ensure correct pricing and signage, following established procedures for ordering, markdowns, pricing, labeling, and clearance.
- Comply strictly with cold chain requirements, food safety, and sanitation protocols, including temperature monitoring, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, and sanitation practices.
- Support merchandising initiatives by maintaining promotional displays and department features to standards.
- Promote a safe and tidy work environment by removing hazards, debris, and spills, while adhering to company policies and health and safety regulations.
- Stay flexible and available to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to help maintain store operations and customer service quality.
Potential Challenges
- Manage a high volume of tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight shifts, and plan breaks to maintain focus and energy.
- Handle physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting inventory or supplies up to 20 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Perform repetitive duties like stocking and zoning consistently to preserve store standards.

Compensation
The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.
