Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the Dairy/Frozen section neatness, organization, and proper zoning to ensure consistent customer readiness.
• Perform regular stock rotation and inspect products to remove expired items sustaining product freshness and quality.
• Ensure accuracy in product pricing, signage, labeling, and adhere to procedures for ordering, clearance, markdowns, and flagging merchandise.
• Comply rigorously with cold chain protocols and food safety standards, including temperature monitoring, thermometer calibration, correct food handling, and sanitation procedures.
• Support merchandising efforts by keeping the department features up to date for promotional activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free workspace by promptly removing debris and spills and adhering to company safety and health guidelines.
• Adapt to a variable work schedule with availability for shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure smooth store operation and consistent customer service.

Challenges to Expect

• Manage a high volume of tasks efficiently during fast-paced shifts, including overnight hours, by planning and maintaining focus and energy throughout.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting inventory or equipment weighing up to 20 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), and consistently completing repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizational duties.

Compensation

The hourly starting wage for this position is $17.75.
