Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready Dairy/Frozen area.
• Execute regular product rotation and check for expired goods to uphold freshness and quality standards.
• Ensure pricing and signage accuracy with adherence to established procedures for ordering, markdowns, flagging, and labeling.
• Follow strict cold chain and food safety protocols, including temperature monitoring, proper food handling, sanitation, and ensuring product freshness by checking sell-by and expiration dates.
• Support merchandising standards and promotional displays within the department.
• Keep the work environment safe, clean, and free from hazards by removing any debris and following company and health safety guidelines.
• Demonstrate flexibility by being available for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.

Challenges in the Position

• Manage high volumes of tasks in a fast-moving environment efficiently, including effective overnight shift planning.
• Handle physically demanding tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items generally up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain attention to detail during repetitive stocking and organizing to uphold store standards.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $18.40 per hour.

Minimum Qualification

Applicants must be aged 16 years or older.
