Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Principal Consultant to engage with clients in identifying security threats, crafting mitigation strategies, and delivering solutions that protect information systems. This role involves designing and implementing robust resilience frameworks, assessing vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and overseeing cybersecurity posture alignment with best practices and regulatory mandates.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership, delivery management, and advisory services in at least two core security domains such as Cyber Resilience, Security Strategy and Compliance, Identity and Access Management, Security Operations Centers, Application Security, Data Security, Cloud Security, Network and Endpoint Security, and AI Security, with broader knowledge across most security areas.
• Leverage expertise in Cyber Security Architecture to connect strategic security objectives with practical technical designs.
• Collaborate with global and local teams to develop compelling content that drives business deals.
• Formulate and execute strategies to enhance cyber resilience focusing on prevention, detection, response, and recovery capabilities.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to pinpoint and mitigate potential security gaps.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, adapting client strategies and technologies accordingly.
• Own and ensure successful delivery of security services aligned with client expectations.
• Serve as a role model within the security community by leading and mentoring cybersecurity teams, encouraging continuous learning and innovation.
• Maintain subject matter expertise in applicable industry sectors, notably banking and mining.

Delivery Leadership

• Collaborate closely with consulting services, enterprise architects, managing directors, and sales teams to deliver excellence to WWT's clientele.
• Lead project management activities ensuring impactful and sustainable business performance.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects, managing teams to achieve client satisfaction.
• Define and lead resolution of client problems while maintaining clear documentation and applying advanced analytical and communication skills.

Customer and Market Leadership

• Work alongside sales and account management to uncover new opportunities and craft solutions that address client needs.
• Represent WWT during strategic engagements, executive briefings, and client discussions.
• Educate internal teams and foster growth of WWT's business development.
• Identify and negotiate comprehensive statements of work with clients, specifying scope, deliverables, timelines, and budget.
• Engage at senior leadership levels to deliver tailored recommendations and integrate cross-business services that expand company footprint.

People and Practice Growth

• Introduce innovative tools, technologies, and models to improve competitive advantage and delivery efficiency.
• Partner with global teams to scale best practices and enhance delivery maturity.
• Mentor and develop junior cybersecurity professionals, promoting career advancement.
• Establish recognized thought leadership via conferences, white papers, and client presentations, supporting regional marketing efforts.
• Build strong relationships with core technology partners to extend market reach.
• Drive practice revenue and profit growth targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 7 to 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, especially in strategic and leadership roles.
• Proven accomplishment in designing and deploying enterprise-scale cyber resilience programs and strategies.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience managing large cybersecurity projects with scope, budget, and timeline oversight.
• Familiarity with Cyber Resilience Assessments and implementation of Cyber Recovery Vaults, Isolated Recovery Environments, and Clean Rooms preferred.
• Highly desirable certifications include CISSP, CISM, and CISA.
