Cybersecurity Defense & Assurance Manager

Role Overview

This position is responsible for leading the cybersecurity defense and assurance functions within the organization, focusing on threat detection, incident management, threat intelligence, and security assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise continuous threat monitoring and detection initiatives to identify and assess emerging cyber threats promptly.
• Lead and coordinate cyber incident response efforts, managing the team to ensure effective containment, elimination, and recovery from security incidents.
• Administer and enhance the company’s threat intelligence systems, addressing informational gaps and improving intelligence effectiveness through knowledge of attacker methodologies.
• Promote proactive threat hunting to discover vulnerabilities and potential risks prior to exploitation using threat intelligence and behavior analytics.
• Continuously advance readiness by refining threat detection and response mechanisms in response to evolving cyber threat landscapes.
• Oversee digital forensic investigations to evaluate malicious activities, analyze system weaknesses, and support recovery operations.
• Manage security assurance processes aimed at safeguarding cybersecurity assets and operational integrity across the enterprise.
• Effectively communicate security-related findings and their impact on business operations to management and IT leadership to facilitate timely remediation.
• Supervise the planning and execution of Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), Red Team exercises, and configuration assessments for all company assets.

Educational and Professional Background

A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a comparable discipline is required. Candidates should bring no less than eight years of experience concentrated in cybersecurity defense and assurance roles.
