Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Architect specializing in multi-cloud environments to spearhead the design and implementation of robust, enterprise-level secure frameworks. Your role will involve safeguarding data, identities, and infrastructures within distributed environments encompassing AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end secure multi-cloud and hybrid environments emphasizing elimination of single points of failure, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Create unified and scalable Identity and Access Management structures, fostering cross-account trust and deploying Zero Trust security measures across diverse cloud tenants.
- Develop and enforce security policies, baselines, and Infrastructure-as-Code standards utilizing technologies such as Terraform, Azure Bicep, or AWS CloudFormation with automated guardrails.
- Integrate security protocols into continuous integration/deployment pipelines, container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), and the software development life cycle.
- Perform threat modeling and conduct comprehensive risk analyses to comply with regulatory and industry standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, and GDPR.
- Serve as the lead Subject Matter Expert, collaborating with development, networking, and operations teams on secure cloud adoption strategies and risk mitigation.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least 8–10 years of professional experience in IT and cybersecurity, including 4–5 years dedicated to cloud security architecture involving multiple cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Profound expertise in cloud networking, microservices security, cryptographic key management solutions (KMS, HSM), and API security protocols like OAuth, JWT, and mutual TLS.
- Hands-on proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code security, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) tool integrations, and cloud posture management tools such as Prisma Cloud, HashiCorp Vault, Splunk, and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Possession of certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or cloud security specialty certifications from AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively conveying complex security architectural concepts to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Experience within the Financial Services or Banking sector is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical discipline.
