Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative role at Paragon Testing Enterprises, a Prometric company, involves supporting prospective test takers, clients, and partners by delivering exceptional customer service related to Paragon's tests and instructional content. This full-time position is based in Vancouver, BC.
Work Schedule
The role requires working five 8-hour shifts within Monday to Sunday, scheduled between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, including rotating weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering thorough assistance to test takers through email, phone, and online chat channels.
- Efficiently processing customer requests such as registrations, transfers, and cancellations.
- Encouraging the uptake and distribution of Paragon's examinations and educational materials among customers and stakeholders.
- Improving the effectiveness of test and material delivery processes.
- Contributing to updates for registration and reporting database systems.
- Monitoring customer requests to inform enhancements in service quality.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of one year’s experience in a customer service capacity.
- Awareness and sensitivity toward customers whose primary language is not English.
- Knowledge of business and office procedures, along with their practical applications.
- Proficient in using business software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and email.
- Attention to detail, teamwork abilities, tactfulness, confidentiality, and capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with interpersonal, problem-solving, customer service, and organizational competencies.
- Eligibility to work in Canada is required.
Compensation
The position offers an annual base salary of $38,000 CAD.
