Work Hours
The role operates from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Role Purpose
The Customer Service Representative serves as a crucial connector across customers, sales, and operations teams to deliver exceptional service internally and externally. This position plays a key role in fostering solid professional relationships with various stakeholders to consistently ensure quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with delivery and collection branches to streamline operations.
- Communicate proactively with customers to provide updates and information.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email, prioritizing resolution on the first contact.
- Manage shipment processing, including organizing special deliveries and meeting specific customer requests.
- Monitor domestic, import, and export shipments utilizing tools like Active Report, unloading reports, and stock checks.
- Handle complaint resolution professionally and issue performance reports when service discrepancies occur.
- Maximize revenue by upselling and correctly applying value-added service charges.
- Maintain a collaborative working relationship with colleagues across the business.
- Validate customs documentation and act as liaison between customs teams and customers.
Required Skills and Experience
- Fluent written and spoken English skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Background in customer service is preferred.
- Experience in logistics or transportation is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Capable of building effective working relationships.
Compensation
The salary for this position can be up to €31,500 annually.
