Position Overview
We are immediately seeking a dedicated full-time Customer Service Representative to join our local Winnipeg branch. This role requires assisting customers by educating them about our product lines, processing orders, addressing inquiries, and promoting additional sales, all aimed at delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively within a sales team environment.
- Assist customers through in-person visits, emails, and telephone calls.
- Keep price lists up to date and communicate pricing, shipping schedules, potential delays, and other relevant information clearly to customers.
- Process customer orders and payments both telephonically and face-to-face.
- Enter orders and quotations into the computer system while verifying product availability.
- Address customer questions and liaise with other departments when necessary; escalate complaints appropriately.
- Guide customers in selecting suitable products.
- Maintain accurate customer service records.
- Engage proactively with customers to ensure clarity regarding orders.
- Manage quality and service concerns to foster and retain customer loyalty.
- Verify accurate pricing and ensure prompt invoice issuance.
- Resolve discrepancies related to pricing, invoicing, credit, payments, and shipments by coordinating with relevant teams.
- Participate in inventory activities.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness and assist with display setups as required.
- Support general labor tasks, including loading, unloading merchandise, and deliveries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a High School Diploma and 1-2 years of experience in customer service.
- Familiarity with basic computer operations, especially Microsoft Office, and aptitude to learn new software tools.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities to address issues promptly.
- Clean criminal background.
- Working knowledge of basic math.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle difficult situations tactfully and respectfully.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication proficiencies.
- Enjoyment of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
