Prometric is a globally trusted provider of test development and delivery services to over 300 organizations worldwide. Acting as a gatekeeper, Prometric ensures individuals rightfully earn their credentials by maintaining fairness in the testing process.
Position Summary
This full-time role, based in Vancouver, BC, involves delivering exceptional customer service to prospective test takers, clients, and partner organizations related to Paragon's examinations and instructional materials under the guidance of the Customer Service Supervisor.
Work Schedule
The workweek consists of five 8-hour shifts scheduled between Monday and Sunday during 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM PST, including rotating weekend shifts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver thorough customer assistance to test candidates via email, phone, and live chat.
- Handle customer transactions such as registrations, transfers, and cancellations efficiently and promptly.
- Encourage and support the utilization and distribution of Paragon's tests and educational resources to test takers and stakeholders.
- Improve and refine procedures for effective deployment and management of Paragon’s testing and instructional services.
- Contribute feedback for updating registration and reporting databases.
- Monitor and analyze customer requests to enhance service quality continuously.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in customer service roles.
- Awareness and sensitivity towards individuals whose primary language is not English.
- Familiarity with office and business procedures and practical application thereof.
- Proficiency in common business computer applications, including Windows Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access) and email systems.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong teamwork orientation, ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal abilities, problem-solving aptitude, customer service focus, and strong organizational skills.
- Eligibility to legally work in Canada is mandatory.
- Willingness to work weekend shifts on a rotating basis.
