About the Role
U-Haul is seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join their team as Customer Service Representatives. In this role, you become a key part of a dynamic team that exemplifies U-Haul's commitment to outstanding customer service, supporting clients throughout their rental experience by inspecting and maintaining equipment, as well as assisting with the dispatch and return of rental items using modern technology. The position includes comprehensive on-the-job training.
Compensation and Benefits

Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous support to customers at U-Haul centers, addressing questions and facilitating rental processes for products and services
- Operate U-Scan smartphone technology to track rentals and manage inventory
- Handle and secure U-Haul trucks and trailers, including movement and connection
- Perform cleaning and thorough inspection of equipment on the lot, including fluid level checks
- Prepare rental contracts and handle the acceptance of returned equipment
- Install trailer hitches and wiring systems
- Fill propane tanks (certification provided upon hire)
- Operate forklifts following certification offered by U-Haul
- Carry out additional assigned duties as required
- Engage in continuous learning through U-Haul University programs
Candidate Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record maintained
- Completion of high school education or equivalent credential
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The role involves exposure to various moderate physical risks necessitating adherence to safety practices, including working near moving machinery and potential exposure to fumes or irritants. Use of protective gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required.
Physically, the job demands the ability to remain on feet for extended periods, move around indoor and outdoor environments, reach varying heights, and handle equipment weighing a minimum of 50 pounds with or without assistance.
Minimum education
Higher Secondary (Class 12)
