About the Role
Located in Dubai with hybrid work options, this role involves up to 25% travel. As a Customer Project Manager at Cisco Customer Experience (CX), you will oversee the end-to-end management of customer-focused projects and programs encompassing Cisco's technology portfolio. Your responsibilities span from project initiation, planning, execution, and closure while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality, ultimately aligning with the customer’s business objectives.
Partnering closely with Service Delivery Managers, Customer Experience Managers, and Sales teams, you will ensure operational transparency and accelerate technology adoption. You will lead solution discussions, convert customer priorities into actionable plans, and manage cross-functional teams, resources, risks, and changes.
This role also requires you to handle operational and financial governance aspects such as budget management, revenue forecasting, cost analysis, statement of work (SOW) creation, and vendor compliance. By utilizing PMI and Agile methodologies along with AI and automation technologies, you will enhance reporting, anticipate delivery risks, and foster continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects and programs across Cisco technologies from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams including SDMs, CXMs, and Sales to maintain clear communications and operational visibility.
- Translate client priorities into measurable and executable project plans.
- Manage multiple workstreams, coordinate resources, assess risks, and implement change management.
- Oversee financial aspects such as budget tracking, revenue forecasting, SOW preparation, and vendor management.
- Apply PMI and Agile methodologies, leveraging AI and automation tools to optimize delivery and risk management.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years experience in customer project or program management, or comparable practical experience.
- Certifications such as PMP and/or CPMAI or equivalent industry certifications are encouraged.
- Proven success managing complex IT, cloud, or enterprise networking projects.
- Solid background in project financial management, including managing budgets, forecasting, SOW development, and controlling vendor relationships.
- Hands-on experience using PMI and Agile frameworks and integrating AI/tools for improved delivery efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering projects in Middle East and Africa markets, adept at working in local and multinational corporate settings.
- Technical certifications like CCST Networking, CCST Security, CCNA, or equivalent cloud certifications.
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking, security, and cloud architectures, with experience mentoring colleagues.
