About the Role
For over 150 years, our stores have been a cornerstone of their communities, focused on excellent food and outstanding customer service. As a Customer Assistant, you will be an essential part of our store’s success by bringing energy and teamwork to a fast-moving environment. You’ll be key to ensuring customers find everything they need each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide approachable, attentive, and helpful service that makes customers feel valued.
- Support customers anywhere needed, including restocking shelves, fulfilling orders, assisting at tills, and promoting products.
- Adopt and effectively utilize digital tools to improve job performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage stock by organizing, moving, and keeping displays neat, clean, and well-presented, including handling heavy items as required.
- Increase your knowledge of our range, services, and current promotions to offer confident advice and recommendations to customers.
