Custodial Worker NA-02

Overview

This part-time Custodial Worker role involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in specified areas including rooms, corridors, stairways, and restrooms. The role requires operation of both light and heavy duty cleaning machinery and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning floors and surfaces such as rooms, corridors, and stairways using sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, stripping, and polishing with powered equipment.
• Operating industrial machines for rug cleaning and performing routine maintenance on cleaning equipment.
• Sanitizing and deodorizing toilet facilities, dusting, emptying trash, washing windows, walls, blinds, and ceiling fixtures using appropriate tools and safety equipment.
• Maintaining adequate stock of cleaning and room supplies required for assigned tasks.
• Performing additional related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must have valid Social Security Card and capability for direct deposit.
• Fulfill background and eligibility checks including employment verification through E-Verify, Tier 1 background investigation, and physical examination confirming physical ability to perform the job duties.
• Completion of a probationary period of one year may be required.
• Demonstrate ability to use and maintain cleaning tools and equipment effectively while communicating clearly both orally and in writing.
• No formal education requirements for the position.
• Residence within a 50-mile radius of Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield, GA is required. Military Spouse and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference candidates are included.
