About the Role

As a Crew Scheduling Officer within the Operations Control - Management & Admin division, your main responsibility will be to support crew scheduling controllers by managing the published flight and cabin crew rosters for Dubai and outstations on operational days. This includes ensuring that the correct crew complement is available for every flight within regulatory and company guidelines, while maximizing operational efficiency and resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the crew scheduling team to provide essential crewing information that supports day-to-day operational choices.
- Deliver feedback and suggest improvements for crew scheduling to enhance operational recovery strategies.
- Participate actively with crew schedulers to implement solutions during operational interruptions, maintaining continuous situational awareness and effective crew communication with stakeholders throughout recovery.
- Handle any roster adjustments on the day of operation due to crew sickness or management directives.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards by managing cabin crew complement and their complex flight attributes while coordinating with outstations for accurate reporting prior to flight departures.
- Identify operational irregularities such as aircraft changes within the operational day and confirm crew assignments match these changes to maintain optimal staffing.
- Communicate promptly any updates or changes in assigned duties to flight and cabin crew members.
- Assign standby crew members in line with General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) regulations and company policies.
- Take charge of flight crew training recovery efforts outside regular office hours to reduce disruptions to published rosters.
Candidate Eligibility
- Completed at least 12 years of schooling or equivalent educational qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in flight operations, specifically in rostering and crew scheduling.
- Relevant professional background within airline operations.
- Demonstrated proven success in crew scheduling and planning roles.
