Job description
Role Overview
This position involves operating company vehicles to provide courteous, timely delivery and collection of packages. The courier ensures all shipments comply with the FedEx service standards, offering related customer service support. The role requires driving vehicles not governed by Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Additional duties are assigned as needed.
Minimum Education
Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or GED.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Capability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- For heavier packages exceeding 50 pounds, use of proper equipment or assistance from teammates is required.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
- Adequate proficiency in reading and speaking English to comprehend traffic signage, interact with traffic safety authorities, and respond appropriately to inquiries under FMCSA guidelines.
Working Conditions

- A neat and professional appearance is required due to regular customer interactions.
- The employee must maintain continuous alertness and perform duties safely.
- A valid license for the assigned vehicle type is mandatory.
Compensation and Schedule
The pay rate is $21.05 per hour. The work schedule is to be determined.
