Overview

Responsible for operating company vehicles to efficiently deliver and collect packages. Ensures all shipments comply with FedEx service standards and provides excellent customer service during interactions. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid license for the assigned vehicle type is mandatory.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and handling heavier packages with proper equipment or assistance.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills essential.
• Professional appearance required due to direct customer contact.
• Must meet FMCSA section 391 qualifications and pass a medical examination as per FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Position is safety-sensitive and requires constant alertness.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
• Proficient reading and speaking of English to comprehend traffic signs and interact with traffic officials.

Additional Details

• Starting wage ranges from $23.16 to $24 per hour.
• Assignment may remain at the current station or relocate within a 50-mile radius based on operational demands.
• Work schedule requires presence on-site five days per week.
