Job Overview

This position involves operating company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously. The role requires verifying shipments according to company service standards and offering necessary customer service support. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Holder of a valid license for the assigned vehicle type.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Capability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and handle heavier items with proper equipment or assistance.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance due to frequent customer interaction.
• Must fulfill qualifications as per section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSA).
• Pass required medical examination in line with FMCSA or FAA standards; position classified as non-covered safety sensitive.
• Consistent alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
• Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English sufficiently to comprehend traffic signage, communicate with traffic authorities, and respond to official queries following FMCSA guidelines.
