Courier / DOT-4 Driver

Job Overview

This role involves operating company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously. The driver is responsible for verifying that shipments comply with FedEx service standards and delivering related customer service support. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Possession of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid license corresponding to the vehicle type assigned.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages using equipment or assistance.
• Good interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication.
• Professional appearance due to direct customer interaction.
• Compliance with safety regulations in section 391 of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Mandatory medical examination per FMCSA or FAA standards.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Fluent English reading and speaking skills sufficient to understand traffic signals and interact with traffic officials.

Preferred Details

• Pay range: $21 to $25 per hour.
• Work location may be maintained at the current station or reassigned within a 50-mile radius based on operational needs.
• Work schedule involves five days per week on-site at the FedEx location.
