Role Overview

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our courier team. As a courier, you'll be responsible for safely transporting packages, representing FedEx professionally, and adhering strictly to company policies and health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Courteously pick up and deliver packages to customers, serving as the face of FedEx.
• Drive FedEx vehicles along assigned routes across various postcodes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with safety laws and company regulations.
• Adhere consistently to all FedEx Health and Safety and company policies.

Candidate Profile

• Dependable and cooperative team player with enthusiasm and energy.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and excellent communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in paperwork and deliveries.
• Possess a valid driving license corresponding to the vehicle category (Cat. B or C1); holding it for over two years is beneficial.
• Adaptability to different driving conditions and environments is essential.
• Experience with commercial driving is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Basic geographical awareness to navigate designated routes efficiently.

Work Schedule & Compensation

The position requires a 45-hour workweek. The hourly wage is £15.01, with additional premium rates for hours worked between 7 PM and 10 PM, and 10 PM to 6 AM.
