About the Role
Join GardaWorld as a Corporate Security Guard in Vancouver, British Columbia, where you will serve as a key security presence, supporting a safe and welcoming environment for staff, executives, clients, and visitors. Your role is pivotal in maintaining security while delivering excellent customer service and professional interactions in a modern corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, verify identification, and assist visitors efficiently.
- Control access to premises to ensure authorized entry only.
- Conduct regular foot patrols to detect and respond to safety concerns.
- Inspect security tools and report any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Complete computer-based tasks relevant to security operations.
- Respond to incidents, administer first aid where needed, and coordinate emergency responses.
- Accurately document incidents and communicate any security issues to appropriate parties.
- Answer security-related inquiries both face-to-face and via telephone.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Possession of a valid British Columbia security guard license.
- Certification in first aid is mandatory.
- Strong customer service talents.
- Basic competency with telephone and computer systems.
