Position Overview
We are seeking a Corporate Concierge to support our premier client, One New Zealand, situated at their impressive corporate headquarters in Wellington. This full-time permanent role requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
The Concierge acts as the initial point of contact for visitors, ensuring everyone experiences outstanding hospitality. The role demands discretion, confidentiality, and the upholding of ethical and professional standards reflective of Canon and One New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of organisational structure and personnel
- Welcome visitors warmly and provide exemplary customer service
- Manage the visitor registration system efficiently
- Keep the front office area pristine and presentable
- Coordinate with clients and their hosts
- Deliver excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee meeting and event amenities, assisting with event setup and takedown
- Manage room booking administration
- Escort clients to meeting rooms as needed
- Ensure compliance with Canon and One New Zealand health and safety regulations
- Support mailroom and general administration duties
- Provide assistance with building and facilities management
Candidate Profile
- Exemplary personal presentation standards
- At least two years of corporate hospitality or office support experience
- Excellent multitasking and organisational abilities
- Keen attention to detail
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with room booking software preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective administrative capabilities
- Positive demeanor and flexibility to adapt to varying situations
- Ability to perform independently as well as collaboratively within a team
