Role Overview

Join Healthcare Services Group, Inc (HCSG) as a Cook to contribute essential culinary services preparing nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care environment. Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $14.00 to $15.00. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals adhering strictly to planned menus and established recipes.
• Ensure food meets quality, taste, and presentation standards of HCSG.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation protocols, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Assist in managing inventory and ordering kitchen supplies as required.
• Provide courteous and professional interaction with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Preferred prior experience in cooking or food preparation roles.
• Capability to comply with recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Possess a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants and management.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is mandatory.
• Physical ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull similar weights, and remain standing, sitting, bending, and walking for prolonged periods.
• Capability to perform repetitive tasks consistently and safely handle food and cleaning materials.
• May require completion of an approved sanitation and safety course.
• Holding a current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state or county law.
• Residing within the service area is necessary for this position.
