Job Overview

This opportunity is located at Shura Island, The Red Sea, Hanak, Saudi Arabia. The role is full-time and non-management within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category.

Responsibilities

• Prepare special dishes or substitute products as needed.
• Manage and regulate oven, grill, and roaster temperatures.
• Defrost frozen food by transferring it to the refrigerator.
• Ensure proper portion sizes, plating, and food garnishing.
• Maintain records related to food items.
• Monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food.
• Communicate requirements for assistance during peak work periods.
• Notify the head chef about excess food products to incorporate into daily specials.
• Inform Food and Beverage staff about rejected items and special menu dishes.
• Maintain food product quality standards.
• Cook food following recipes, quality, presentation standards, and preparation checklists.
• Prepare cold dishes as part of the menu offerings.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, advising, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; lead by example.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, promptly report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; participate in safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance; protect confidential company information and assets.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest service needs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues.
• Foster positive working relationships and teamwork to achieve shared goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
• Physically stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and perform movements such as stretching, bending, twisting, lifting objects up to 25 pounds unaided.
• Perform any other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical, vocational, or trade school diploma preferred.
• At least three years of relevant work experience in similar roles.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No licenses or certifications are mandatory.
