Concierge

Position Overview

As a Concierge at our Abu Dhabi location within the EDITION brand, you will be responsible for promptly addressing guest requests for special arrangements and services such as transportation, dining reservations, and laundry by coordinating with appropriate service providers. You will cater to guests’ unique needs, ensuring their satisfaction through follow-up and personalized attention.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and helpful information to guests about hotel facilities and local attractions, events, and activities.
• Handle and process all guest communications including calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate with relevant departments (e.g., Bellperson, Housekeeping) to resolve guest issues efficiently.
• Maintain and update logs and shift memos documenting important information for continuity of service.
• Oversee the club lounge, ensuring seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and well-being.
• Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to management and participate in safety trainings and certifications.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, uphold a clean and professional appearance, and safeguard confidential and proprietary information.
• Warmly welcome guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation for their patronage.
• Communicate clearly and courteously in person and over the phone, apply proper etiquette, and maintain accurate written documentation.
• Foster effective working relationships among team members, support common objectives, and handle colleague concerns with empathy.
• Meet quality assurance standards and expectations consistently.
• Maintain physical stamina to stand, sit, or walk during entire shifts as needed, and manage light lifting and carrying tasks up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• No prior relevant work or supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications needed.

This role is based at Al Bateen Marina in Abu Dhabi and is part of our Rooms & Guest Services Operations category. It offers full-time employment with a non-management position.
