Position Overview

Join EDITION as a Waiter/Waitress in Downtown Dubai, where you will deliver exceptional food and beverage service. This role involves serving food courses and alcoholic drinks, setting tables appropriately, answering menu-related inquiries, and communicating effectively with kitchen staff on orders, wait times, and special dietary needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages in accordance with event type and service standards.
• Set tables carefully to meet event requirements.
• Respond to guest questions regarding menu items.
• Coordinate with kitchen for order modifications, wait times, and product availability.
• Handle special dietary requests and allergy notifications.
• Process orders and transactions using the MICROS system.
• Follow up with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain workstation cleanliness, including utensils and glassware.
• Complete closing tasks such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Present accurate bills and manage payment transactions.
• Comply with company policies on safety, security, and professional conduct.
• Maintain a neat, clean appearance meeting uniform standards.
• Provide welcoming and professional guest interactions, including assisting guests with disabilities.
• Develop cooperative relationships with colleagues to achieve team goals.
• Maintain quality standards and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Perform physical activities such as standing or walking for entire shifts and handling objects weighing up to or over 25 pounds with assistance.
• Adapt to a variety of physical and environmental work conditions.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Supervisory experience is not required.
• No specific licenses or certifications are necessary.
