About the Role

This Cook III position is based at 38 Cuscaden Road, Singapore, and is a full-time onsite role within the food and beverage sector. The company is a luxury boutique hotel brand known for combining world-class hospitality with uniqueness and sophisticated design, aiming to deliver exceptional experiences beyond ordinary service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking tasks, including portioning, chopping, and proper storage.
• Wash and peel fresh vegetables and fruits, measure and mix ingredients accurately.
• Follow recipes, quality standards, plating guidelines, and food preparation checklists during food preparation and cooking, including cold dishes.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely and efficiently.
• Conduct tests to ensure food is thoroughly cooked and consistently monitor the quality of food during preparation.
• Set up and clean workstations before and after shifts, including thorough cleaning and sanitization of kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment.
• Serve correct portions of food in appropriate containers.
• Ensure equipment and food temperatures are maintained within safety standards.
• Comply fully with company safety and security policies; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, or unsafe environments to management; complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain cleanliness, professional grooming, confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, foster positive working relationships, support teamwork, and respond appropriately to coworkers' concerns.
• Strictly adhere to quality expectations and standards.
• Physically capable of standing, sitting, or walking throughout long shifts; perform positions involving stretching, bending, twisting, pulling, or crouching; safely move, lift, carry, push, pull or place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational background: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Work experience: At least one year of related job experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No licenses or certifications required.
