Locker Attendant

About the Role

Join EDITION at their Shurairah Island location in Saudi Arabia as a Locker Attendant in their Housekeeping & Laundry department. This is a full-time, non-management role where you'll engage in delivering high standards of guest room cleanliness and support the overall guest experience at a luxury hotel setting.

Primary Duties

• Respond promptly to service requests from guests and other departments.
• Prepare housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies and transport them to designated areas.
• Enter guest rooms respectfully following proper protocols to ensure vacancy and access.
• Restock guest room amenities and supplies efficiently.
• Replace dirty linens and terry with fresh, clean items and make beds neatly.
• Clean bathrooms thoroughly and manage trash removal, soiled linens, and room service items.
• Verify all appliances in rooms are present and operational, straighten furnishings, and tidy desk items.
• Dust, polish, and eliminate marks from walls and furniture surfaces.
• Vacuum carpets and perform comprehensive floor care, including hallways and guest rooms.

Safety and Professional Standards

• Adhere strictly to company safety and security policies; report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, and injuries promptly.
• Complete all safety-related training and certifications as required.
• Properly store flammable materials to ensure workplace safety.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
• Keep company information confidential.

Guest Interaction and Teamwork

• Welcome guests warmly, anticipate and respond to their service needs proactively.
• Assist guests with disabilities thoughtfully and professionally.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with guests and team members.
• Contribute toward team goals and support colleagues to achieve shared success.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, and move objects up to 25 pounds unassisted; larger items with assistance.
• Push and pull loaded housekeeping carts over uneven terrain as necessary.
• Perform physical activities including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, and reaching throughout shifts.
• Exhibit fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for handling various sized objects.
