Finance Executive (Cost Control)

About the Role

As a Finance Executive specializing in cost control at EDITION Singapore, you will play a key role in managing physical inventories across food, beverage, and retail segments. You will conduct detailed analyses of product mixes, margins, and guest preferences to inform operational decisions and support merchandising efforts. Your duties encompass updating pricing, menu configurations, and user access within the point of sale (POS) system, as well as logging all incoming food, beverage, and non-food item receipts into inventory and purchasing software systems.

Additionally, you will investigate discrepancies in measurement units and significant price fluctuations, maintain current inventory requisitions, and assist in calculating projected cost of sale ratios. Maintaining master cost documentation and receipt records, alongside performing random inspections to ensure proper product storage and security, also fall under your responsibilities.

Job Expectations

You will be expected to comply fully with company policies, uphold a clean and professional appearance, and protect confidential information and company assets. Maintaining guest and coworker privacy, using professional communication skills in speech and writing, and professional telephone etiquette are essential. The role involves physical activities such as moving items up to 10 pounds without assistance. Building cooperative relationships and supporting team goals are key to your success, as is addressing employee concerns thoughtfully. Other reasonable duties as assigned will also be part of your work.

Qualifications and Experience

You should possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and have accrued a minimum of three years of relevant work experience. This position does not require supervisory experience or specific certifications.
