Server

Position Summary

This role goes beyond simply serving food; it focuses on crafting a truly memorable dining experience for guests. Servers take proactive steps to deliver diverse services ensuring guests enjoy their meals fully—from setting tables and coordinating with kitchen staff to engaging with and serving customers and maintaining clean work areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively prepare dining areas by setting tables and arranging supplies.
• Maintain clear communication with kitchen personnel to ensure seamless service.
• Interact positively with guests, addressing their needs and enhancing their dining experience.
• Perform cleaning duties to uphold hygiene and presentation standards in the service area.
• Adhere to all company policies, especially those related to workplace safety and quality service.

Work Conditions

Servers are expected to be mobile and on their feet for extended periods and work across various floor conditions. Physical tasks include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects up to 25 pounds alone or up to 50 pounds with help, as well as reaching and bending activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Less than one year of relevant work experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience is necessary.
• No certifications or licenses required.
