Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for a creative and strategically minded Content Operations Specialist to convert EPOS's product features into engaging and customer-centric content. Acting as the link between technical product details and engaging e-commerce storytelling, this role uses the Feature-Advantage-Benefit (FAB) framework to craft compelling narratives that attract, convert, and enhance brand presence across Southeast Asian markets including Malaysia and Singapore.
This position demands excellent content planning abilities and keen visual judgment—although design skills are not a must, a strong sense of visual storytelling and aesthetic presentation is required.
Core Responsibilities
- Convert product functionalities into customer benefits using the FAB framework specifically for e-commerce platforms, marketing outlets, and social media channels.
- Create captivating product stories emphasizing what the product is, its significance, and how it benefits customers.
- Devise content strategies that integrate images, videos, and multimedia formats to highlight product features and reinforce brand value.
- Apply discerning aesthetic judgment to ensure all visual content—including professional photos, videos, and graphics—aligns with brand identity and customer expectations, collaborating with designers and agencies.
- Oversee video content projects from ideation through delivery, coordinating closely with external agencies and production partners, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Produce compelling product listings, campaign pages, and promotional materials for platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and official e-commerce portals.
- Optimize product titles, descriptions, and visual assets to enhance click-through rates and conversions, ensuring consistent communication of FAB elements at every customer interaction point.
- Act as the main liaison for creative agencies, video production firms, and other content collaborators, providing clear and precise briefs regarding creative briefs, brand standards, and marketing goals.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to synchronize content strategies with overarching business objectives.
- Analyze key content performance indicators like engagement, CTR, and conversion rates to continually refine content strategies; conduct A/B tests on headlines, visuals, and copy to determine the most effective content formats.
- Stay informed about e-commerce developments, competitor content strategies, and emerging platforms in Malaysia and Singapore.
- Maintain a centralized content library to organize assets such as images, videos, copy, and campaign materials, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and platform compliance across channels.
Qualifications
- Between 3 to 5 years of professional experience focused on content operations, e-commerce content creation, digital marketing, or related domains.
- Demonstrated expertise in content strategy and storytelling with a track record of transforming product features into customer-beneficial messages using frameworks like FAB.
- Strong visual sensibility and aesthetic judgment, capable of defining what constitutes quality content and effectively communicating creative directions, even if not a designer.
- Proven experience managing video production projects in partnership with external agencies or production houses, preferably within e-commerce or consumer technology sectors.
- Outstanding communication and briefing abilities enabling clear transmission of creative vision, quality standards, and campaign objectives to agencies and cross-departmental teams.
- Practical hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok within the Malaysia and Singapore markets.
