Overview

As a Consultant in Product Management at Dell Technologies, you will lead strategic initiatives to modernize supply chain operations on an enterprise scale, influencing multiple business units and global markets. This role involves shaping the future architecture, vision, and implementation of transformative supply chain solutions, ensuring innovation and operational excellence across our ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and promote a long-term product and technology vision tailored to supply chain modernization aligned with strategic enterprise goals and evolving market trends.
• Develop comprehensive roadmaps balancing innovation with pragmatic considerations including budgeting and product team models.
• Translate complex business challenges into unified product strategies that enhance revenue, competitive edge, and scalability.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, guiding decisions on technology, investments, and organizational design.
• Research industry trends and emerging technologies to position the company favorably long-term.
• Lead product strategy to simplify and modernize supply chain planning, driving tangible financial improvements.
• Align product decisions with business priorities including backlog management, resource allocation, and accelerating development roadmaps.
• Identify risks early, applying mitigation plans and data-driven decision-making to ensure project success.
• Drive transformational change through roadmap execution aligned with supply chain objectives and mentor product managers fostering an innovative, accountable culture.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment through clear communication and stakeholder engagement while maintaining a collaborative, transparent team environment.
• Manage product backlogs and release plans ensuring coordination with technical teams to maintain architecture integrity, development speed, and product quality.
• Advocate user-centric design and accessibility across digital products while staying informed about emerging tech such as AI agents and large language models for modernization use cases.
• Use data analytics to guide strategy, track success metrics (revenue, retention, cost savings), and communicate impact effectively.
• Leverage change management (ADKAR) and negotiation skills to influence prioritization, funding, and talent distribution, addressing resistance empathetically.

Required Qualifications

• Over 13 years of product management experience, with substantive focus on supply chain, enterprise digital platforms, or large-scale systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Deep expertise in B2B or digital product management in supply chain or marketplace domains, understanding end-to-end operations and platform economics.
• Proven leadership in guiding large distributed organizations through complex enterprise transformation, with strong executive influence and emotional intelligence.
• Advanced knowledge in MLOps, AI/ML, data science platforms, cloud-native architectures, agile frameworks like SAFe and LeSS, and quality methodologies such as design thinking, Six Sigma, and lean product development.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities combined with excellent communication skills to translate data into compelling narratives for executive stakeholders.
• Ability to operate effectively in matrixed, complex, and ambiguous environments while empowering teams to perform.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple agile release trains, large program increments, and global portfolio planning.
• Strong personal initiative and sound judgment thriving in a fast-paced dynamic setting.
