Concierge

Position Overview

Join The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Doha as a Concierge, where your role involves responding diligently to guests' special requests such as transportation, reservations, or dry cleaning by arranging appropriate services or identifying suitable providers. You will assist guests with unique needs, ensuring their satisfaction through attentive follow-up. Additionally, you will inform guests about hotel amenities and the local area including special events and activities.

Daily Duties

• Manage all guest communications including calls, messages, and requests promptly and efficiently.
• Coordinate with relevant departments like Bellperson and Housekeeping to resolve guest issues.
• Maintain detailed records and logs from shift handovers and daily memos.
• Monitor the club lounge to ensure guest comfort, safety, and appropriate seating availability.

Safety and Conduct

• Promptly report incidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Complete required safety trainings and certifications.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain a professional appearance.
• Respect confidentiality and safeguard company assets.

Guest Interaction and Team Collaboration

• Greet guests warmly, anticipate their needs, assist those with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation for their patronage.
• Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve shared goals and address colleague concerns respectfully.
• Comply with company quality assurance standards.

Physical Requirements

Be prepared to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during your shift, and handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable job duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• No prior relevant work or supervisory experience required
• No licenses or certifications mandatory
