Agent - Restaurant Reservations

Job Overview

This role involves supporting various departments to ensure exceptional service experiences for guests, focusing primarily on restaurant reservations. It requires maintaining cleanliness standards by practicing clean-as-you-go techniques throughout the work shift, and being physically capable of standing, sitting, or walking for long periods.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist multiple departments as needed to optimize guest service levels.
• Keep workstations clean continuously during shifts following cleanliness protocols.
• Physically accommodate extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking.
• Accurately read and verify information in diverse formats including small print.
• Use computers and point of sale systems for entering and retrieving work-related data.
• Communicate with coworkers through various electronic devices such as pagers, two-way radios, and email.
• Engage and converse with guests regarding their stay, hotel amenities, and local attractions.
• Follow all safety and security regulations, promptly reporting incidents or unsafe conditions to management.
• Complete all mandatory safety trainings and certifications.
• Uphold company policies ensuring professional appearance, confidentiality, and protection of company assets.
• Welcome guests warmly according to company standards; anticipate and meet guest needs with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, answering telephones with proper etiquette and preparing documents accurately.
• Foster positive relationships and teamwork, listening and responding effectively to colleagues' concerns.
• Handle physical tasks like moving or lifting objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least one year of relevant work experience required.
• No supervisory experience needed.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
