Operating as GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS), this site accounts for upwards of 60% of GE's global engine component repair volume.

Role Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of mechanical cleaning machines and processes, including grit blast, shot peen, glass peen, tumble, ultrasonic cleaning, vapor blast, etching, water flow, turbo jet washers, blade flushers, plastisol injection and burnout, barrel finishing, and honeycomb seal removal.
• Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections to ensure readiness and safety.
• Accurately document all production data in the official Log Book.
• Confirm all process certifications and maintenance schedules are up to date.
• Understand and correctly use different tumblers and peening machines.
• Perform daily machine maintenance checks and uphold workplace safety standards.
• Conduct scheduled housekeeping and maintenance activities to preserve operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• Candidates should possess hands-on manufacturing or operation experience related to blasting, peening, tumbling, washing, plastisol handling, and seal removal.
• Strong commitment to safety, adherence to processes, proper equipment usage, precise documentation, and routine maintenance is critical.

Educational and Skill Requirements

• Minimum qualification of GCE 'O' level with at least three years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in reading and comprehending manufacturing operation sheets and standard operating procedures in English.
• Prior experience with tumbler and peening machine operations is advantageous.
• Capability to conduct quality audits and pre-production qualification assessments.
• Ability to multitask effectively and ensure meticulous logbook documentation.
• Familiarity with operating both manual and automatic grit blast equipment.
• Strong discipline with rigorous observance of operating and quality protocols.
• Comprehensive understanding of process parameters to consistently produce components of high quality.
• Willingness to work in environments that may be hot and noisy.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within team settings.
