Complex Security Officer

Position Overview

Serving within Four Points by Sheraton on Sheikh Zayed Road, this role focuses on maintaining safety and security across the property. Responsibilities include patrolling premises, monitoring security systems including CCTV and alarms, conducting hazard inspections, responding to emergencies, and managing guest and employee safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols throughout all property areas and assist guests with room access as needed.
• Monitor surveillance systems like Closed Circuit Television, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire life safety equipment.
• Secure property entrances by locking them when required and perform daily physical hazard assessments.
• React promptly to accidents, providing first aid or CPR and contacting emergency medical services if necessary.
• Support guests and staff during emergencies, dealing calmly with incidents, disturbances, or accidents.
• Complete detailed incident and loss prevention reports accurately and maintain confidentiality of all related documentation.
• Escort unauthorized individuals off the property while ensuring smooth operational flow.
• Investigate security issues by collecting evidence and conducting interviews with involved parties.
• Follow all organizational policies, report unsafe conditions, undergo required safety training, and present a professional appearance.
• Engage with guests warmly and professionally, anticipate their needs, assist those with disabilities, and maintain clear communication.
• Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and uphold quality assurance standards.
• Physically capable of prolonged standing, walking, or sitting; perform tasks requiring mobility, lifting, and fine motor skills.
• Complete additional reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Additional Information

• Minimum education requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior work or supervisory experience is necessary to qualify.
• No specific licenses or certifications are required, although certain local licensing may apply.
• Work is scheduled full time and requires onsite presence at Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai.
