About the Role and Company
Nasdaq is seeking a dedicated Compensation Specialist to join their technology center located in Mumbai, India. This role focuses on managing compensation programs that are fair, competitive, and aligned with Nasdaq's global compensation philosophy. The position reports to the Senior Director of Compensation and emphasizes innovation, data-driven decision-making, and collaboration within a transformative technology environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Offer expert advice and consultation to HR Business Partners on compensation programs, policies, and best practices.
- Evaluate market pricing and compensation decisions to ensure they comply with internal guidelines and global pay philosophies.
- Perform advanced data analysis and modeling to support equitable and competitive compensation recommendations.
- Assist in developing and maintaining compensation administration guidelines and educational resources, collaborating with global teams to bolster consistent, scalable compensation strategies.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess 4 to 8 years of overall experience, including a minimum of 2 years in compensation, total rewards, or a related human resources function.
- Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, including model-building, data interpretation, and effective communication of insights.
- Exhibit proven collaboration skills working with HR and business leaders across complex, global matrix organizations.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Experience and Credentials
- Progress toward or possession of Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or similar certification.
- Experience within financial services, fintech, or similarly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools or human resources platforms.
- Experience handling year-end management cycles.
