Community Lead

About the Role

This position is for a Community Lead located in Ireland, representing a partner company in the rapidly developing Layer 1 blockchain and Web3 ecosystem. The role entails fostering and expanding a global, engaged community through various social and Web3 platforms. You will be the primary driver of community activity from daily chat to major event organization, fostering connections between members and the wider ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture an active global community presence on key social networks including Twitter, Discord, and Telegram.
• Maintain vibrant and informative daily community engagement, ensuring conversations are welcoming and productive.
• Conceptualize and implement strategies to grow community participation, retention, and sustained interaction.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute community-focused events to enhance ecosystem relationships.
• Represent the community positively by leading discussions with authenticity and enthusiasm.
• Generate and promote interactive content such as memes, campaigns, and dialogues that drive member involvement.
• Identify and empower influential community contributors to act as advocates and growth drivers.
• Recognize and reward behaviors that enhance community culture and promote constructive interactions.
• Monitor community mood, emerging trends, and opportunities within the broader Web3 space.
• Manage simultaneous community projects with clear priorities and deadlines.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, creators, and contributors in the ecosystem.
• Continuously seek innovative methods to enhance community engagement and ecosystem awareness.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading community development within Layer 1 blockchains, DeFi, NFT projects, or similar Web3 sectors.
• Demonstrated success managing and growing Web3 communities across major platforms.
• Ability to design and execute impactful community growth plans.
• Thorough knowledge of blockchain technologies, ecosystem stakeholders, and community dynamics.
• Current understanding of industry trends, technologies, and community behavior in Web3.
• Excellent communication abilities with skills to connect authentically across diverse global communities.
• Innovative and proactive in driving engagement through diverse content and campaigns.
• Solid project management and organizational skills to handle multiple initiatives on schedule.
• Experience identifying emerging leaders and enabling them to assume greater responsibility.
• A positive, energetic attitude centered on community enrichment and passion for decentralized technologies.
• Comfort and effectiveness working remotely within a globally distributed team.
