This position aims to build a robust, sustainable community fundraising program by leveraging these relationships and experiences.
Role Summary
The National Community Fundraising Manager will spearhead the community fundraising strategy for Rehab Group. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring two Community Fundraising Officers, coordinating national campaigns, and collaborating closely with major fundraising committees, local teams, and supporters across Ireland.
Ideal Candidate
This opportunity suits experienced community fundraising officers, senior fundraising officers, or regional fundraisers seeking a progression into a management position. The successful applicant will be supported by the Head of Fundraising, Director of Development, a growing fundraising team, and committed colleagues throughout Rehab Group, as well as strong organizational commitment to developing this income stream from its inception.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an annual community fundraising plan with well-defined targets.
- Set income and activity goals for the community fundraising function.
- Conduct comprehensive mapping of community fundraising prospects across the national network.
- Identify priority regions, target audiences, campaigns, committees, and supporter groups.
- Create a pipeline of local fundraising initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in community, regional, events fundraising, or supporter engagement.
- A demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with supporters, volunteers, committees, or community groups.
- Experience managing fundraising campaigns, events, or local fundraising activities.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a permanent contract of 39 hours weekly, with a starting salary ranging from €54,135 to €73,240, dependent on qualifications and experience.
