Commissioning Manager

About the Role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join their team in Khafji, Eastern Saudi Arabia. The manager will oversee the electrical scope, including cable sizing, load calculations, switchgear, and power distribution systems for significant Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, ensuring these systems comply fully with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Lead commissioning planning activities to guarantee mechanical completion and full commissioning of systems, aligning with approved design intent and strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) regulations.
• Possess substantial experience in commissioning major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects, demonstrating leadership throughout the commissioning phase.
• Ensure that all systems are handed over fully operational and compliant with design and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 18 years' total experience, including at least 10 years in commissioning for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects; or
• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with at least 22 years of experience and a minimum of 14 years in commissioning for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Experience in offshore projects covering commissioning, operations, and startup phases is essential.
• Previous involvement in ARAMCO projects is a significant plus.
