Job description
Overview
Penspen is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in piping to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role involves overseeing detailed engineering tasks, managing construction and fabrication activities specifically within offshore projects.
Responsibilities
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be accountable for managing engineering scopes, construction, and fabrication efforts, ensuring adherence to industry standards such as API and ASME.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
- A total of twelve years of engineering experience, with at least six years focused on mechanical engineering within large-scale Oil and Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- Extensive knowledge of EPC project lifecycles, experience in offshore construction, and involvement in commissioning, operation, and startup phases on offshore projects.
- Prior work involvement in ARAMCO projects will be considered a beneficial asset.

This position is located on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and entails engagement with complex offshore engineering projects in the energy sector.
