Job description
Role Overview
Penspen is seeking a Communication Engineer to join their team based in Khafji, Eastern Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on reviewing and approving all FEED deliverables associated with the installation of a new Public Address and General Alarm (PAGA) system across several key plant areas such as the PIB, substation, and the new desalter plant. The incumbent will also ensure that all telecommunications system interfaces are thoroughly in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and sanction all FEED documents relating to the new PAGA system to be deployed in designated plant areas.
- Verify and ensure proper integration with existing telecommunications systems.
Experience and Skills Required
- A minimum of eight years professional experience, with at least four years on major Oil and Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- Preferable previous involvement in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) roles in a similar capacity.
- Essential knowledge and practical experience in FEED and Detail Engineering processes.
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco's Desktop Standards and related procedures is advantageous.
- Exposure to construction and commissioning stages is a bonus but not obligatory.
Educational Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
