About the Role

Join our esteemed luxury hotel team as a Commis de Rang in our elegant Lobby Bar & Lounge located in Berlin. This position is key in providing exceptional service to discerning guests while ensuring an impeccable bar experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding, polite, professional, and efficient service to guests at all times.
• Offer knowledgeable guidance and recommendations on the food and beverage menu, actively suggesting suitable alternatives.
• Carry out all preparatory and closing tasks reliably to maintain smooth operations at the outlet.
• Maintain a consistently clean and well-organized workstation and assist with inventory checks.
• Handle guest inquiries promptly and courteously, addressing feedback effectively.
• Exhibit flexibility by supporting other departments and outlets within the hotel whenever necessary.

Skills, Expertise & Requirements

• Possess initial experience in upscale gastronomy or hotel service along with strong food and beverage product knowledge.
• Maintain a positive and motivated attitude, demonstrate a high level of self-discipline, and foster solid teamwork.
• Approach tasks confidently with a quick learning ability, including proficiency with POS cash register systems, along with strong sense of responsibility.
• Strictly adhere to all hotel policies regarding hygiene, fire safety, and security standards.
