Co-Pilot Solutions Architect

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced AI Agent Factory Solutions Architect skilled in designing and deploying agentic AI solutions through Microsoft Copilot Studio. The position involves developing custom copilots that tightly integrate with enterprise data sources, manage complex agent workflows, link to Azure AI Search capabilities, and adhere to robust Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) standards for secure and scalable production deployments.

Key Duties

• Create and configure bespoke copilots encompassing topics, tools, and enterprise knowledge integrations.
• Develop agent workflows leveraging Power Automate, HTTP actions, and bespoke APIs.
• Integrate both standard and custom connectors to enterprise systems such as Dynamics, SAP, and ServiceNow.
• Support multichannel deployment strategies for copilots.
• Design intelligent, multi-step agent orchestration workflows incorporating task breakdown, fallback mechanisms, and error management.
• Manage packaging of copilots and Power Automate flows into Power Platform Solutions suitable for various environments (development, testing, production).
• Implement continuous integration and delivery using Power Platform Pipelines, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
• Oversee environment variables, connection references, and dependencies related to Dataverse.
• Ensure compliance with data residency requirements, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, and secure API access through Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Implement observability and monitoring following enterprise standards.

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Copilot Studio for authoring topics, tools, connectors, and enabling multichannel deployments.
• Experience designing Power Automate flows including HTTP actions, custom connectors, throttle and timeout handling.
• Knowledge of Azure AI Search including hybrid and vector retrieval, enrichment, re-ranking, and integration within copilots.
• Familiarity with ALM practices, including Power Platform Solutions (managed and unmanaged) and deployment pipelines.
• Skilled in security governance utilizing Entra ID authentication, environment variables, and data protection policies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure AI Search for enterprise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) use cases.
• Design and implementation of hybrid and vector-based retrieval pipelines using semantic indexing.
• Implementing secure knowledge grounding mechanisms for copilots.
• Monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Understanding of Responsible AI principles and enterprise governance frameworks.

Additional Experience

• Expertise with Dataverse and ALM/governance in Power Platform environments.
• Implementation of observability techniques leveraging Azure monitoring tools.
• Exposure to Agent Factory or equivalent agent operationalization frameworks.
• Experience navigating regulated or enterprise compliance requirements.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an allied discipline.
• Preferred certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI, or Copilot Studio.
