Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced VMC Setter cum Operators for multiple openings. The role involves setting and operating VMC machines with minimal supervision, requiring a solid understanding of CNC programming, drawing interpretation, and machining operations.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate VMC machines effectively to ensure accurate machining.
- Understand and modify CNC/VMC programs as required.
- Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles to ensure precise manufacturing.
- Select appropriate tools, set offsets, and perform tool changes during machining processes.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, Micrometers, and Height Gauges for precision measurement.
- Apply knowledge of machining parameters and cutting tools for optimized performance.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic machining issues independently.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess ITI or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Tool & Die, or related fields.
- Have 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in setting and operating VMC machines.
- Demonstrated ability to operate CNC machines with minimal supervision.
