Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turning Machine Operator to join our manufacturing division. The perfect candidate should possess solid experience in operating and programming CNC turning machines, with a comprehensive knowledge of Numerical Control (NC) programming and skills in setting up machines for production tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precise components in accordance with engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Interpret and understand NC programming to configure and operate turning machines effectively.
• Utilize precision measurement tools to inspect and verify finished parts meet quality standards.
• Modify machine settings as required to optimize operational performance and reduce material waste.
• Detect and resolve machine issues to sustain continuous production flow.
• Keep the workspace tidy and well-organized, adhering to safety guidelines and operational best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Completion of high school or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in CNC turning machine operation and programming.
• Solid understanding of NC programming with the capability to prepare machines for production runs.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and ability to analyze engineering drawings and specifications.
• Capability to troubleshoot and execute routine maintenance on machine equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and follow both written and oral instructions.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to meet stringent production deadlines.
